Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall Motorcycle Rally

  • The Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall arrives in Tulsa. A Veterans’ motorcycle rally and highway patrol escort will accompany the Wall down Route 66 to Norman for display throughout the entire Operation Oklahoma event.

Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall Opening Ceremony


  • June 30, 2010
  • 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • At the conclusion of this ceremony the Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall, a 3/4 scale replica of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C. will be open to the public 24 hours a day until 8:00a July 5th.

American Red Cross Blood Drive


  • The American Red Cross joins Operation Oklahoma with blood drives scheduled across the state. Come donate and learn about the Red Cross Service to Armed Forces program. Those donating are invited to share their thanks on a "traveling banner" to be presented to a local VA hospital.
  • June 29, 2010 - Stillwater chapter accepting donations from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 114 W. 8th Street
  • July 1, 2010 - Oklahoma City chapter accepting donations from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 601 NE 6th Street
  • July 2, 2010 - Tulsa chapter accepting donations from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 10151 E. 11th Street
  • July 5, 2010 - Norman chapter accepting donations from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 1205 Halley Avenue

Operation Oklahoma - Tulsa

  • July 2nd, 2010

  • Begins at 6:00 p.m.

  • Free classic rock concert featuring LIVERPOOL, a Beatles tribute band, at the University of Tulsa Chapman Stadium and Fireworks Display.

Operation Oklahoma - Bricktown

  • July 3rd, 2010

  • All-day event to include performances by military bands, Veteran Ceremony, and possible Veteran Center Stand Down to provide homeless Veterans free medical and dental services as well as clothing, food, showers, counseling, etc. Additionally, all museums and other tourist venues in Oklahoma City will be free to Veterans.

Operation Oklahoma - Norman

  • July 4th, 2010

  • Reaves Park, Norman. – All-day event to include concert, flyovers, fireworks, color guards, military choirs, patriotic salute, and Veteran Ceremony. The Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall will also be on display to the public.
